RCC stands for Registered Clinical Counsellor. This means I am licensed to work with clients in BC and am credentialed under the BCACC.
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a therapy aimed at helping individuals heal from trauma, such as PTSD. The process involves using techniques like guided eye movements to help the brain reprocess distressing memories in a way that reduces their emotional impact. EMDR is recognized as an effective treatment for trauma and can also help with anxiety, panic disorders, depression, and grief.
EMDR therapy helps with PTSD and trauma by helping the brain process upsetting memories so they become less overwhelming. It can reduce the emotional charge of those memories, allowing you to feel calmer and more in control.
Yes, my CVAP number is J4G3196336 and the organization covers the full counselling fee.
I do not offer couples therapy at this time. However, many couples find that working on their own deeper trauma can greatly improve their relationships. By focusing on personal healing, individuals can become stronger and more resilient, which benefits their relationships.
The office is located at 1480 Foster St #26, White Rock, BC. We offer both in-person and online sessions for clients in White Rock, Surrey, and all nearby cities, including Delta, Langley, and Cloverdale, to ensure you have easy access to the support you need.
For my office in White Rock the fee is $135 for 50 minute sessions and $210 for 80 minutes. Longer sessions are recommended for working through more extensive trauma and EMDR processing.
I do not bill directly to insurance companies. That being said, I can issue a receipt right after each session that can be submitted for reimbursement.
