RCC stands for Registered Clinical Counsellor. This means I am licensed to work with clients in BC and am credentialed under the BCACC.
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a therapy designed to help people recover from trauma, like PTSD. In EMDR sessions, a therapist helps clients focus on traumatic memories while using techniques like moving their eyes back and forth. This process helps reduce the emotional impact of these memories and can lessen symptoms such as intrusive thoughts and nightmares. EMDR is recognized as an effective treatment for trauma and can also help with anxiety, panic disorders, depression, and grief.
Yes, my CVAP number is J4G3196336 and the organization covers the full counselling fee.
I do not offer couples therapy at this time. However, many couples find that working on their own deeper trauma can greatly improve their relationships. By focusing on personal healing, individuals can become stronger and more resilient, which benefits their relationships.
For my office in White Rock the fee is $141.75 for individuals (tax included price) per session. There are a limited number of subsidies to clients in need, please contact for more details.
I do not bill directly to insurance companies. That being said, I can issue a receipt right after each session that can be submitted for reimbursement.
There are many insurance plans that have coverage for working with a Registered Clinical Counsellor. Check in ahead of time to see if you are covered!
